Our vision includes building stronger neighbourhoods by making  them more safe, livable, and fun. To achieve this, we need to get back to basic  fundamental neighbourhood building, as outlined below in our 3-point plan. 

Safety & City Services

  • Eliminating blight through a   Residential Rental Licence and a Vacant Building Registry
  • Cleaning up our neighbourhoods through fully subsidized bulk-item pickup and stronger rodent control programs
  • More Police Patrolling 
  • Speed calming measures on neighbourhood streets 
  • Attracting amenities in Sandwich Town, such as a bank and grocery store, through enhanced community improvement plan incentives

Community Development & Infrastructure

  • More Amenities in community parks
  • Opposing the relocation of the transit terminal from College Ave to Prince Road
  • Supporting & enhancing all existing neighbourhood groups &  programs
  • Securing a community centre
  • Prioritizing and increasing investment in roads, sewers, sidewalks, parks   & alleys
  • Accessible Health Care Services
  • Investment in cycling infrastructure

Strong Voice on Bridge Infrastructure

  • Holding the Ambassador Bridge accountable
  • Opposing any connecting highway     from the Herb Gray Parkway to the foot of the Ambassador Bridge
  • Holding the Federal Government accountable in building the Gordie Howe Bridge on time
  • Working aggressively toward  a resolution  on the remaining boarded-up homes in Sandwich Town
